Dosage: For subcutaneous injection. Cattle: 300-350 mL Sheep: 70 mL

Administration Instructions: Inject into the anterior half of the neck or over the ribs. Massage to facilitate absorption. Repeat if necessary after 4-6 hours. If complete recovery does not occur seek veterinary advice.

Controls & Prevents: A clear, colourless liquid, Propylene Glycol is indicated as an aid in the treatment of acetonaemia (ketosis) of cattle. Propylene glycol acts as a glucose precursor, triggering the production of more glucose from the liver. This will help elevate blood glucose level, assist removal of ketones and accelerate general metabolic function.

Dose Rates & Administration Instructions:
CATTLE: 240mL morning and evening for 2 days. For next 2 days, reduce to 120mL morning and evening.
SHEEP: 125mL daily. Treatment can be given for up to 10 days.
NIL Withholding period. iO K-Dex Energy can be drenched or used on feed with simple dosing options available.

Dose Rates & Administration Instructions: Rate of Use: Always make sure there is plenty of fresh, clean water available following the intake of this liquid. Horses 450kg to 500kg: Light work – 40ml in 2L of water. Moderate work – 60ml in 3L of water. Heavy work – 80ml in 4L of water.
For severely dehydrated horses: 6L to 8L of diluted solution (40ml iO Electrolyte Liquid/L of Water)
Travelling horses: 40ml to 60ml over the tongue with water during hot weather or long distances, 30 to 60 minutes before travelling. Repeat every 2 hours and again on arrival.

A shortage of minerals, such as calcium and magnesium in the body, usually after calving, can cause recumbency. Also includes Vitamin D3.

Dose Rates & Administration Instructions: For oral use only.

Adult/Pregnant/Lactating – Give 500ml daily.

If heavily pregnant – Give 500ml daily, morning and night.

Open the bottle and place the neck of the container over the tongue towards the back of the throat. Gently squeeze the bottle to assist swallowing. Use in conjunction with a 4 in 1 injection.

Quick Facts & Benefits: As a natural insect control, Apple Cider Vinegar has been known to cause thiamine (Vitamin B1) to be excreted through the skin, repelling flies and mosquitoes. Optimum levels of B vitamins (particularly B1) in the body seem to discourage bugs

Horses: 30 – 60mL per animal per day
Cattle: 250mL per animal per day

Active Constituent: Thiamine (Vitamin B1) has a role in promoting carbohydrate metabolism providing increased energy. Vitamin B1 also has a role in nerve function. Some claim it calms animals. Whilst others claim it aids in heart and muscle function.

Apple Cider Vinegar is prepared from low acid, low tannin dessert apples, which are crushed and then fermented. The product appears cloudy but settles to form a sediment or curd at the bottom of the container. Apple Cider Vinegar also contains Vitamin B1 2g/L. Horses are able to synthesise Vitamin B1 in the colon by bacterial action, however, further supplement of this vitamin is beneficial in horses fed poor quality pasture, hay and grain.
