For the treatment and control of abamectin sensitive strains of gastrointestinal roundworms and lungworm in sheep, including benzimidazole and levamisole resistant strains. For the treatment and control of nasal bot in sheep. For the treatment and prevention of selenium deficiencies in sheep.

Active constituents: 2.0 G/L Abamectin, 1.0 G/L Selenium (as sodium selenate)

Target parasites: Abastar Plus Selenium LV contains abamectin, a member of the avermectin family of drenches. It is effective against abamectin sensitive strains of the following internal parasites:

Adult and immature gastrointestinal roundworms:
Barber’s pole worm – Haemonchus contortus
Small brown stomach worms – Ostertagia spp.
Black scour worms – Trichostrongylus spp.
Small intestinal worms – Cooperia spp.
Thin-necked intestinal worms – Nematodirus spp.
Large bowel worm – Oesophagostomum venulosum
Lungworm: Dictyocaulus filaria
For the control of Sheep Nasal Bot – Oestrus ovis

Withholding periods:

Meat: DO NOT USE less than 14 days before slaughter for
human consumption.
Milk: DO NOT USE in lactating ewes where milk may be used or
processed for human consumption
